Artist

Alexandra draws all the time. It is the thing she does the most. Most often it is the same picture, a girl *wearing a dress!* standing next to a flower between grass & blue sky. And always a butterfly or a fairy in the sky - We have 100's of this same picture. I love her drawings, I have a hard time throwing any of them away, it's like they are a part of her - she spends so much time on them. Sigh, she is getting so big. :(

Yesterday she told me, "Mom, Buddy is the cutest in our family. Then Daddy, then you, then Ainsley, then me." There are a lot of directions I could go with that statement, but I have to admit the one that stands out MOST in my mind is STAN IS CUTER THAN ME!? That's it - I put an emergency call into Becky. She is on the hunt for items to update my look. I will not tolerate Stan being cuter than I am, even if he is mister buff marathon man! :-P

Last night before bed, she commented AGAIN saying, Mommy, I love you so so much. I love you bigger than a million. Bigger than earth. I just love you mommy, even when you don't wear lipstick.

So, I guess I got that going for me. Lipstick not required. Wheew!

Splish, Splish, Splash and Princess Ainsley

Funny pics. Anderson loves his bath... The girls beg to have a bath with him - he is their little doll. Anderbuddy is on his 2nd round of Antibiotics... This ear infection is not completely clearning up. Could mean scary stuff in the future - fingers crossed round 2 works. Anyway, here they are playing....

Ainsley is really into her accessories. Notice the 3 necklaces, ring, glasses... She now calls herself Princess Ainsley. Except for when she wants to spit. Yes, you read that correctly. Her new thing that drives us all crazy. I told her that Princesses don't spit and she said, I'm not a princess right now. Looking forward to her outgrowing that activity.

9 months old already. :-(

Sweet Anderson... He says mmmmmma mmmmma and dddddda and bbbbbbba. I know these are sounds he means to make. We make genius' you know (stan and i). Okay, maybe not. He could have horns growing out of this head and I wouldn't notice.

The girls are so in love with him. They carry him around from room to room as if he were a puppy. It looks painful when they pick him up. It looks like they are squeezing him WAY too hard. But, he has a smile plastered all over his face while he is hanging there... so I guess it doesn't bother him. Stan and I still wince when we see them pick him up though.

Here is a pic of our big bug.
