16 yards

It's amazing what 16 yards of fabric on a $75 couch can become.  It turned THIS:

Ahhhh, me likes.

Scoops, Twinkies, Donuts and a Goth Diptych

We kicked off Halloween by attending a small party at Stan's office.  He is working on a case for Tostitos Scoops so we sent Whit to the party dressed as a bag of Scoops.  It was funny.

October was so busy we never got to carve pumpkins!  So as soon as they came home from School, they got busy on their pumpkins.  Turned out great.    Ainsley Grace of course had to be a donut theme.  She decided to go as a Disco Donut.  Happy she was.  Picture doesn't show the swim donut ring she carried.... But she had it.

We had two sets of Twinkies this year.  One when Lexi stole the baby's costume and wore it for a while.... Second when Anderson's cousin showed up in the exact same Red Power Ranger costume.  Great minds think a like!

Alexandra just wanted to be a dark and creepy Goth Girl.  Here is her very own Halloween Goth Diptych.  She could make a great hoodlum.....

Halloween turned out well.  Daddy ran around scaring innocent children in his Gorilla costume.  Kids got loads of candy.  Munger Place is the place to be on Halloween.  Good times......

Cold Tiger Cubs

Anderson had his first Tiger Scout campout last weekend.   Bud was so totally excited to go.  Daddy carved out time and took him (thank goodness bc there is no way I would go sleep in a tent in 37 degree temperatures).  "We" decided tent camping would be a boy thing.  Daddy said Anderson was not phased by the weather....All the boys had a ball.  I'm so happy for him.  I love it when he gets to do something fun, often his two older sisters get a lot of action... It's getting to be his turn.

Brrrr.  My little Tiger Scout had fun.

Don't blink...

...or November will show up.  Lots of things happened in October this year and it went faster than ever.  Her are *some* time sucking reasons it flew by.

Sick Babies.  AG threw up over 15 times.... Rough 24 hour bug.  Whit had bronchilaitis.  :(

Sewing prep.  Lexi sewing pillowcases for Veterans hospitals and children's hospitals.

Haircuts.

Birthday, Graduation, Christmas present to purchase and set up for one hard working Daddy!  A new back porch with one special cooking apparatus.  The Green Egg!

Assembly Required.  Noo, I didn't put it together - Granddaddy did.  Check out this packing job - I'm amazed at the logistics and planning these days.  To turn a single box into 2 chairs, love seat and an coffee table is really remarkable!  THANK YOU SO MUCH GRANDDADDY!

We had a pep rally to attend.  Lexi was very excited.  Whit, not so much.

I had jeans to get monogrammed.  They turned out so cute.  I'm sure you can guess whose is whose.

We got to attend the Trial of the Big Bad Wolf.  Ainsley Grace was a "Weasel" aka a lawyer.  "Your honor, you can plainly see my client is neither Big nor Bad!"  She was CUTE and I mean, CUTE.

And last but not least, the fair!  Lexi got to go twice.  Once with one of her super good friends.  I took the team this year, Daddy had to work.  We went the day after Big Tex burned down.  Sad. Kids had fun though.  Texas State Fair is always such a great time.

 Gotta love "Tiny Tim."

I blinked and the next thing I knew it was Halloween.....  I sure love my little time suckers.
