Pumpkins, FB/XC/VB, Splits

AG has been running hard this season in Cross Country.  It is hard for her, it doesn't come naturally--she has to work at it.  But, she has continued to push herself.  She can now run 2 miles without stopping!

Here is my sweet volleyball photobomber.  This is one awesome girl, we are so proud of her.  Volleyball is now officially her sport of choice.  It's neat to know now what she likes and now she can focus.  Here she is with her buddy carving pumpkins.

Here is AG with our precious neighbor friend and schoolmate.  Sweet girls they are.

The OU pumpkin was Anderson's (with help from Daddy).  So cool.

I find piles and piles of these footballs.  100's!  Anderson is obsessed with all things football no matter the angle.  Tackle starts next year...  STRESS. #obessedwithfootball #damnconcussions

Happy Birthday Daddy.  We love you!!!

SURPRISE!!!!!!!

We did it!!!  We threw a successful surprise party for Alexandra.  She had come to the decision that she did not want a party this year for many reasons.  But, I knew she was down in the dumps about it.... So, I couldn't have that.  Her friends kept it a secret and we managed to throw the best party.  She was so so surprised.  We got her there by telling her many fibs.  First, Amparo knocked on the door and asked for the baby, Anderson and AG had a playdate so we had to leave, she needed to stay at the house to wait for the baby, Daddy is home early bc his stomach upset and finally my car had broken down and they had to come rescue me.  LOL!!!  Worked like a charm. ;)

Here are the girls waiting for her to arrive.  Then, she texted me and said, "we are here, WHERE R U??"  The girls all hid behind the bushes as she walked up, I finally saw her and counted 1, 2, 3 and they all stood up and yelled SURPRISE!!!!  The valet people were all smiling, she was so shocked she wasn't quite sure what was happening.  HAHAHAHA!  It was great.

First the girls did a yoga class.  A whole bunch of yogi's in the making!

Then after they worked out, up to the Hotel pool we went.  Super fun.

Happy Birthday to my beautiful girl.  I love you Alexandra.  The best thirteen years ever!

Cotillion

Well a large group of Alexandra's friends signed up to learn their manners via Cotillion!  I'm not sure if she learned many manners but she sure did have fun buying dresses and taking pictures.  And she learned some dance moves!  Here she is at her first dance.

They had a 50's theme.  The kids loved it.

Then it was on to two stepping and cotton eyed joe.  She wasn't loving me taking pictures on this one.... But she was still adorable.

On to Waltz!  Any manners, yet?  Not sure....

Finally the Grand Finale was Candlelight.  They "learned table manners," supposedly.

Here she is with dancing with Daddy wearing his glasses.

But us parent's finally got to watch the kids dance together.  It was really fun.  She had a good experience and great times being with her friends.

Anderson says Whitaker is his best friend

They have so much fun together.  The age difference is almost perfect since they aren't competing against each other.  They just play, very loudly, a lot. I'm happy they have each other...  We love these two boys so much.  Me a boy mom...  I'm still getting used to it. I am so grateful.
