1L

First day of school. Bitter sweet. I love having the girls home all summer. They like summer too, but are very excited to go back to school. "If summer keeps going, we can't have our birthday's!"

Stan has started his 1st year of Law School. He is officially a 1L. He managed to pass the patent bar and read all the books and write two papers before his first day. Helloo, super student. Crazy. He has enjoyed the new reading and the new experience. It's fresh. 4 years seems like a long time...

We talk about how Stan will be 38, I'll be 40, the kids will be 6, 8 & 10 by the the time he finishes. I like to say we'll be electing the next president (let's hope relecting McCain)!

Here are pictures. I love all the pictures of the girls together... They really love each other. They argue and Ainsley can't stand that Lexi is older and wins. Lexi can't stand it when Ainlsey doesn't do EXACTLY what she wants or won't let her fix her hair. Anderson loves everything, btw. Which was a question posed to me by Lexi. "Why does Anderson like to eat everything?"

New Students.

Good Luck Daddy.

Ainsley's new dressup

So funny, she keeps putting Anderson's clothes on... She is so skinny they fit her, but so short... It's a crack up - these are the only pictures I've remembered to get... But, this has become her daily show.

I know, he is going to kill me for this one day. But, Anders wants to wear Ainsley's Ballet Recital costume all the time because, "it's booooo (blue)."

Oink

Lexi said, "Mom, I want to know what year we were born in China?" Okay, let's go look it up. "No! Daddy and I are going to do the research in a few minutes." Okay....

1971 - Year of the Pig - "Bacon's Good.... Pork Chops are good."
1973 - Year of the Ox - "I'm big and strong"
2001 - Year of the Snake - "Ssssss, ssss, I'm going to lick you! Mom, why do they have to choose gross anmials?"
2003 - Year of the Sheep - "Baaa, Baaa, Baa, Baa"
2006 - Year of the Dog - During a diaper change about 10 minutes after being told what he is "Imma a Dawg. Wooooof"

Red, Grey & White, We've Come Prepared to Fight

The girls did a fun cheer camp with the Woodrow Wilson High School Cheerleaders. They made frames, buttons, mums. Learned a Chant, Cheer & Dance. SUPER CUTE.

Ainsley really had a great time during the week, but got scared to preform at the pep rally at the end of the week. She sat in the lap of her teacher who rubbed her back while she watched the girls perform. Lexi went out there and tore it up. It was fun to watch both of them all week.
Buddy even had fun watching them. He shook the pompom I brought in the stands. He was getting lots of attention.

eight, eight, O eight

We are very excited about the Olympics starting. The girls had their last day of cheer camp today (upcoming blog) and they wore their t-shirts that our friend Nadine bought them from Beijing about 2 years ago! It was cute. The had me stick a stick in my bun, "because that's Chinese." They made us all paper fans. Then we had this conversation...

[Lexi] Mom, we need to figure out what food Chinese people eat and we can make some!!

[Mom] They eat Chinese food.

[Lexi] ....... grimace.

[Mom] smile. So yummy, we're ordering take out tonight! Woo, hoo.

[Lexi] ....... grimace.

GO TEAM USA!
