Kindergarten Boys

What is cuter than a group of kindergarten boys? I can't think of anything. Each of these boys are so CUTE to me. Ugh, I do not want Anderson to grow up...

Hey, at least he can read and write now... Check that capitalization and he remebered his period.  ;)

Spring Break part Birthday

The birthday boy's day started with his first doughnut hole with sprinkles.  Then of course, we had to have our photoshoot!

Then we ran an errand.  Mom, let us get the big cart. No. Pleeease. No. Pleeeeeeease! NO!  Mom, it's Whit's birthday! Fine, you want that nightmare cart, you push it.

Finally came the big moment.... I have to admit that I think he may be a bit of a pyro.  We have decided his offical first word is, "Hot."  Said in a breathy, "Haaaaaaaaa."

Happy birthday you fantastic little baby!!!!  We love you more than anything! We are so lucky to have you in our family.

Our good friends, Amy, Scott and Elise blew into townm, took us out and bought us dinner, spoiled the kids with presents.  As always, they are so much fun to have around!  Can't wait to OU/tx to see them again.

It was a fantastic Spring Break.  It just went too fast.

Spring Break part Dallas

Daddy studied all week to prepare for the Ethics part of the Bar.  He took the test on Saturday.  So glad that part is over for him.

When we got back from Tulsa, we got busy cleaning and reorganizing.  Getting ready for a Spring Clean Garage sale coming up... The kids worked hard!

Here was Lexi helping Ainsley Grace set her watch.  They are soo sweet together more often than not.
After cleaning, then came the FUN parts for the kids.

Ainsley Grace got invited by her super sweet friend Jewell to take a mini road trip and go to the Tyler Zoo!  She took a ton of amazing photographs on our friends camera.  I'm going to order the prints they were so good.  She saw a White tiger and had a GREAT time.

Anderson got to have a Faux Sleepover!  His buddy James came over and played and hung out - then they put their jammies on and watched a movie.  After the movie, we walked him home.  Both boys were SO happy!

Miss Alexandra and Ainsley Grace got to have a sleepover swap.  I had the big girls our friend took the younger girls.  Clare and Lexi had a ball being together. The girls curled their hair and played with the baby.... Whit didn't seem to mind one bit!

Here he is in an American Girl doll dress that Gma crocheted for the girls....  Mean girls. ;)

Then after the friend time, it was getting closer to birthday time....  Someone we know and love was about to turn ONE.  But before birthday festivies could take place, we had to go shopping for pressies.......

Spring Break part Tulsa

Spring break went by so fast. In fact, March has happened in a blink of an eye. We drove up to Tulsa to kick off Spring Break. The kids loved meeting Gabby and Macy's little girls. It was super cute. They also loved playing Mumsie's old video game Spiro and exploring the property.

My super bestie from High School came out with her super CUTE boys and the kids played and played.  Somehow, they coaxed Rocky to come out!  I don't think I had ever seen him...!!

The girls slept in my old room.  And Anderson got to have his OWN room which he was very happy about.  He slept in there and loved it!

The kids started lounging and eating right away.  Playing Spiro and listening to iPods....

Then, we had a super cute baby party.  Even Whit was excited, he hugged Graci as soon as she was sat down.  He leaped out of my arms and layed his head on her.  The twins were adorable.  Gab and Mace are such cute mommies.

The kids did a little exploring... Hopefully the property will sell soon, it will be sad to see it go though.  But, it will mean new beginnings!

Potty break on the side of the road.  Waay easier with Bud.

This is how we do it

I feel so lucky to be able to stay home with the kids and do nothing but plan our days and do for them.  We are busy, but we are a team, we get it all done and while laughing a lot.  For *months* Ainsley Grace had been talking about her play, Two by Two.  She did fantastic on her lines.  She is a wonderful "memorizer."

Lexi, the baby whisperer, is such a helper.  Whit is soo comfortable with her and truly feels good with her.  What a gift for both of them to have each other.   Here is the schnoodle doing his one big party trick.  Standing.  We all stop and get excited when he does it.

We had a great day at the soccer fields, 3 games and pictures, then we had to rush off to the Violin Trophy Festival.  Rushing is the key word there.  I didn't even think to check Whit's diaper before we left... THAT was a BIG mistake.  We made it there after the 45 minute drive, got in, got the violins unpacked and our teacher started tuning them... I looked down and I can tell you it was NOT a pretty sight.  Of course I did not have a change of clothes for him.  So he got to be naked the whole time.  At first embarrassing since we got a lot of peculiar looks... Eventually we owned it as best we could.  "No mamn, we are not white trash..."

Below is there sticker chart for Violin.  When they play all of their songs 10 times each and for Anderson after he plays twinkle 100 times, I will take them on a shopping trip for a reward.  Lexi has decided she wants makeup.........

Something is very wrong about waking a 5 year old up for school everyday at 6:30am.  But he does pretty well at handling it, but it does catch up to him every now and then.  One morning, I came home from yoga and he was crying and moping around, half dressed.  He finally walked up to me and said, "Moooommmmyyy, I am siiiiiickkkkkk."  I said, okay Buddy, go climb in my bed  and wait for me to get your sisters out the door.  He had been fighting crud anyway, I thought maybe he needs a day home.  As soon as I got to him he said, "Can I watch TV?"  I said, no, not on sick days.  He said, "okay."  Closed his eyes and fell asleep soo hard. He slept 3 hours without hardly moving.  He opened his eyes, smiled and said, "Mommy, I feel GOOD!"  I took him to school late that day and he was so excited, he got there just in time for recces and lunch!  Sweet boy.

He was fine the rest of the week....  Here is a picture of him outside of his classroom....
