Sandbar and 1st place!

We are having so much fun at Sandbar this summer.  It's a few minutes from the house.  The atmosphere is awesome.  The food is GREAT.  The downtown view is unbeatable!  Lexi invited a bunch of her girlfriends to go and hang out after school and they had a great time.  Then her friend had her and her boy twins birthday party there!  Lexi is there for practice 2 times a week and she plays tournaments there.  It's our summer home all of a sudden.

Here is Lexi at her first tournament.  She did great!
Downtown view!

Anderson's team won 1st place this Spring Season.  He had so much fun playing with his friends!

PreK 3. Check!

He did it.  This sweet kid just finished his first year of preschool.  He LOVED his year. He wants to go to school every single day.  He had his school carnival and had a ball.  Instead of Mario facepainting, the girls had them make it a W.  So funny.  He rode a train, horse and played games.  It was a precious carvnival.

They had "Fun Week" on the last week.  Day one, he got to go barefoot and chew bubble gum.  Day2, dress like Dad.  Day 3, wear thing inside out and backwards.  It was funny.  And Day4, Jammies!  Cute stuff.  He is having a hard time understanding that it's summer.  He just wants to go to school!

I want to freeze him

Medieval Times.  Period. That's all he wanted.  If we could only afford to bring 1 friend, he would have been fine with that.  He just loves the swords and fighting and anything of the sort.  His last suggestion in our Suggestion Box was to give him a Medieval styled room.  Humph.

The kids made the cake, it's it cute!?  After Medieval Times, we came home and the boys played basketball and played, played and played.   They broke out the metal detector, dug up stuff in the yard.  Finally, Stan took him to find a Geocache and the boys LOVED it!  9th birthday party success.

How is he 9?  I just don't understand it.  I remember them handing him to me like it was an hour ago.  It just is surreal how time flies.  He is the most wonderful, humorous, tough, sensitive and loving little boy in the world.  I always remind him how God gave ME the best little boy.  I don't know why, but I got him.  Happy Birthday to my beautiful boy.

Shawn Mendes

So Lexi was the 20th caller, knew the last 5 songs played on the radio and won 2 concert tix. For three weeks she asked me EVERYDAY if I had gone to KISS FM to pick them up... I finally went and then the countdown was on!  Instead of another friend, she invited her sister to go. So sweet. Daddy escorted them...They look so grown up to me.....

They had a great time!  They told me they had never heard that much screaming!  They thought it was a little crazy.  Haha!

Beautiful Easter

It was a beautiful Easter Sunday this year. The kids had fun going over to their Aunt and Uncle's house.  The girls were happy with their dresses after a marathon dress hunt!  It's getting harder to buy clothes.  But, I'm figuring it out.... I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.  He Has Risen!

Gum and an ambush!

:-(  Nuff said.  I decided to go against the peanut butter option.... Naughty boy!

Water balloon ambush of unsuspecting boys coming home from school...Huge success!  The girls had so much fun planning, plotting and filling water balloons.  Thank goodness they can tie them now! :-)
