The Baptism of Aaron Whitaker

The Rite of Baptism is so beautiful and such an important day for us. We had our dear friends Carla and John as Whit's Godparents. Mumsie, Granddaddy, Aunt Shellie and Uncle Lathan came. And we even had Deacon Edwin join Father John to bring Baby Whit into the Church. We are so lucky to be a part of this Church and it's 2000 year old Tradition.

Here are the kids holding Mr. Mo. Ainsley helped put on his bonnet.

After his big moment, we headed up to Magic Time Machine to celebrate. Again, we all had a great time - it is such a fun fun place. What you don't believe me??? Then check out these two pictures. But, DEFINITELY the 2nd picture is our FAV.

Haha!!! We can't stop laughing at that picture.... Super fun day.

Welcome to the Church sweetheart, we love you soo much!

Pandamania

Vacation Bible School is so fun for the kids every year and a ton of fun for me. I had my little newborn with me as I volunteered each day which brought back a ton of memories when I did the same thing after Anderson was born. What a wonderful week for the children to learn about God's love for them.

Here is my little sleeping snoodle giving you a kiss during VBS.

Every year the girls and I do t-shirt surgery. This year, Ainlsey's was so cute. Totally her idea, I help implement and she sewed. It was cute.

Here is Anderson watching a program at the end while he was waiting for me to pick him up. I couldn't find him and then I looked in the middle of these kids and voila!

I did the Video room this year and the girls walked in and saw me and squealed and grabbed the baby. It was cute! ;-)

Here they are on the last day. I just know God is WILD about the sweet babies!

Incidentally, while we were busy singing and learning, Stan had to volunteer at a Legal Clinic down south and texted me this picture.

3 month old photo shoot

Why of COURSE we treat him like a little doll. That's what you get when you super cute and you are the fourth child AND you have two older sisters that like dolls and a mommy that likes dolls. We had fun with his 3 month old birthday photo shoot. Ainsley Grace was doing her hula hoop for part of the time and he was watching. He also pulled a couple of Popeye maneuvers. He is so cute I can't stand it!

GOT IT! We love you Mr. Mo!!

Here is Buddy in the same shirt when he was 3 months old. Sooo cute.

Buttercups, Baseball and Bloodtests

The girls have been very busy. Piano Recital, Swim Team, Last days of school with Field Day and other fun things and today was their Ballet Recital. They were beautiful "Buttercups" in Alice and Wonderland. It was a great show, Anderson was moderately quiet during the show - perhaps helped by the 10 laps Stan sent him on up and down the steep stairs at the recital hall. Whit was a little squeaky but no major fuss, he got lots of attention as usual! He is such a cutie. It has been an action packed last few weeks.

This video is from their dress rehearsal - I was able to get closer then than during the real thing.
It's sweet because both of the girls were in the same dance and right next to each other.

Here are their piano recitals. Lexi played a 7 page piece of music called a Sonatina. Both the girls got nerves this year at their recitals. But, they stuck with their music and it all was beautiful.

These are pictures of them playing some of their music on the pipe organ at the Church. They really enjoy doing that when Mr. Jay lets them.

Some of you know that we have been having some medical issues with Whit. They have taken so much of his blood I don't see how he can replenish it fast enough. He has been poked and prodded so much since he was born it has been really upsetting. Here are some pictures of a test where they injected him with RADIATION. In the end, the test didn't work. Two words for these pictures - Heart. Breaking. The guy held his head in this position for FIFTEEN minutes.

Moving on, here is my naked baby helping me cook! And here he is smiling at Lexi. He has super sweet smiles and he laughs in his sleep. We all love him so much it's just beyond words.

Anderson has started playing T-ball and he is loving. it. It has been soo hot during practices and games, but Stan has been helping out a lot with this activity, it's been very nice! Anderson is pretty good - he is catching the ball and throwing it where it needs to go. And he looves to whack it too!!

We are all so happy it's officially summer! Yay, my babies are HOME!
