Caroline Rose
Our new sweet God Daughter, Caroline. She had a beatuiful ceremony and baptism. So special, a really great day. Lots of kids, fun and energy. Father John kept a straight face even though the kids were running all over the place. Pretty impressive...
Catherine and Alexandra are still such good friends - they met when they were 2.
Welcome to God's Family, Caroline.

Violin Recital
The girls did great.
This was Ainsley's first time to play an entire piece with an accompaniment on the piano. She has spent over a year to get this far. She uses all 3 fingers and two strings. She has worked very hard. Violin is NOT easy to play, she is really proud of herself. After this first set of songs she has learned, it starts speeding up. She told me she was nervous to play but she kept it in her tummy.
Incidentally, the camera was moving around like crazy because... can you guess??? Anderson decided that was the time to climb all over me...
Alexandra's piece is a Folk Song called Long, Long Ago. It's her first song where she crosses over to the D string. Plus, she is now holding her bow with her thumb on the inside. Only took 2 1/2 years to get there. She works very hard.
Sweet sweet girls.
Btw, Anderson informs me *every* week, "when I get big I pay biolin."

Cooking with Teachers
For our Silent Auction, Alexandra's teachers donated coming to your house and making you dinner! We won the bid and last night was the big night. I had to bring Alexandra in from sitting on the corner of our street waiting for the teachers to arrive. They were freaking out they were so excited. It was a fabulous meal and we all had so much fun.
Thank you Ms. Alacron and Ms. Thacker!
I know for a fact the girls will never forget last night!

Artwork
Alexandra drew a picture of her school as a thank you to the teachers. It was for the Teacher Appreciation Lunch. We used her picture as a tag on the gift and it had our Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe on back. Anyway, the school director loved the picture because she drew the vines on the school and remembered the infamous blue bench. Sue wrote her a nice thank you letter for her artwork. She was excited.
Here is her class picture this year.
