Yes, that's us at a Snoop Dogg concert, our friend got us VIP tickets.... It's hard being Snoop D-O-double-G. But he was definitely the Shiznit.....

Pop Quiz
Can you pronounce, King Nebuchadnezzar, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and psaltery.
Well we couldn't either but now Ainsley Grace can. She is reading the Old Testament reading in Mass.
Wish her luck!

San Antonio, Texas
What a beautiful city. Thank goodness Mexico no longer owns it. ;) We started off at the Natural Bridge Caverns. To think this was only discovered in 1963 is amazing. We got to walk down these paths to view these caves, but look at the hole they used to crawl through when they first discovered this place. Just amazing. The kids LOVED it.
Next we went to the hotel by Sea World. The kids swam and Lexi did her Science Project (more on that later...), had dinner with Lanie and got our sleep for our big day coming up. Whit did well on the drive. He was super happy once we arrived. We love you Lanie, you are reason number 1 to come to San Antonio!
We got to do a behind the scene tour and feed Sting Rays. This is Ainsley Grace's new favorite animal. We searched the park until we could find a stuffed Sting Ray. Finally we found one.... The tour was fantastic. It was an adventure, we pet a shark, fed and petted sting rays and saw dolphins up close. Buddy was none too interested in holding a dead fish so he watched. We talked him into trying it once and he did not like.
Anderson's favorite part was the Penguins. He bought a stuffed penguin for his souvineer. He hasn't put it down, yet.
Our last picture before the phone died, 9 hours later....... Lexi drew this picture when we got back to the hotel.
The next morning we headed down to downtown San Antonio. We went with Kelsey and Kerry and kids to all the local missions. They were just incredible with beautiful stories. Such history. But, first on the list, of course, The Alamo! Lexi gave us a guided tour of all the history. She knew almost everything and even more than I could have imagined. Mrs. Bigney her 4th Grade Texas History Teacher deserves a real pat on the back. We saw Mission San Jose, Mission Concepcion, Mission Espada and Mission San Juan.

We slept in and got to Sea World around 10am. We were there until 7pm. Yes, we spent 9 hours at Sea World and it was worth every penny. A really really fun day. Weather was FABULOUS. We started out with a Picnic Show with Shamu!
The kids loved watching the shows. Plus, they had rides you could ride as many times as you want. Anderson rode the Whale Roller Coaster 3 times. Oddly, Sea World was "slow" on Sunday of Spring Break! There were hardly any lines. So we rode everything. We really lucked out, I don't know how that happened.

That evening we stayed at the infamous Menger Hotel. What an amazing haunted history. We had a super nice dinner and took a Ghost Tour. The kids loved it. It was sooo interesting!
Before we left we did a river boat tour just to finish up. Thank you San Antonio!
