Cupcakes and New Year

I took the kids to get a cupcake at our local bakery.  If you told them happy 8th birthday, you got a free one.  They were sooo yummy.  This weather is so great here in Dallas right now...kids have been playing a lot outside....

It's a new year!  Stan had left over fireworks from the 4th of July.  So we hurried home before midnight to be with the kids when the clock struck 12 and we set off fireworks to bring in the new year.  The kids were actually awake!  It was fun - the Reilly family came and joined us - we had champagne and sparkling juice. Lots of fun, my head is hurting today to prove it...

This year is going to be an exciting year.  Whit turns 1, Ainsley Grace's first communion and HELLO, Stan will graduate from Law School, take the bar and start a new job.   It's hard to beleive what we have in store for 2012.... Let's do this.

Happy New Year!  God bless us in 2012.
