3 stitches, dance, fun

Poor buddy, he had a great time at our annual carnival. In the evening when it was almost over, he was playing football with a friend and they smacked into each other. Ouch! He is fine now. He sure was pitiful then...

Lexi had her first middle school dance, she was adorable and very excited.

Whit could not get enough of watching the bingo balls!

Ainsley Grace made a cake to donate for the carnival cake wheel. She was meticulous about frosting and decorating...

My sweet friend and I.

Carnival was fun this year even though it ended with an owie bang!

I like big art and I cannot lie

I do love big abstract art but can't afford any of it.  So I took matters into my own hands and started buying canvases and playing with painting.  It's been a lot of fun and now the kids are calling me Mumsie!  Waiting for me to start painting on tin cans, old CD's and paint actual artistic paintings.  Never fear little ones, Mumsie is an actual artist.  I'm having fun playing and painting blobs.  We will see how it goes, these are the paintings I have ready for our Home Tour coming up.  I hope I can sell at least 2.  We shall see, either way, it's been fun!  And several of these I hope don't sell so I can keep.  Keep to hang on our walls and keep to paint over and start over.  I'll let you know.  Either way, it's been a fun last 2 months of massive mess making and getting crafty.

School is in session and we are on the go

The kids are back in school and we are busy as ever.  I am going to write down Alexandra's activities just so I can remember.  It's really breathtaking although not all that bad.  She is having a lot of fun with friends and there are just so many opportunities with the DPL sports.  She does Cheer, Volleyball, Cross Country, Fall Basketball (not DPL), Gymnastics, Violin, Piano and now Speech.  Yowza.  Ainsley Grace is doing Soccer, Gymnastics, Violin and Piano.  Anderson is doing Soccer, Football, Hip-hop and Piano.  Wow.

Whitaker on the other hand does Mommies day IN.  So I took him to story time at the library.  Going to the story time always makes me feel better about my own kids.... Seriously.  Although, Whit did let out a few of his screams in the Library section, but NOT the story time section.  ;-)

My area finally got a Trader Joes.  The first time I went I really didn't get it, I bought a few things and left.  The second time I went, I got it big time and now I'm obsessed!  It's my new favorite store!!!

My Fantasy Football group passes out a plunger/scrubber for the lowest scorer of the week.  My sweet friend took our scrubber to a whole new level.  Ha, it was so FUNNY.  C.R., wine and glue are a dangerous combo.  Really dangerous.

I had lunch with my sweet lovie friend.  We never get our picture taken so now it's official.  You exist!

My little Star Student..... LOOOOVE him.

Lexi Alter Serving and doing a fantastic job.  She takes her job with seriousness and reverence.  So proud.

Some of my awesome dinners.  The kids actually requested Quinoa with their salad.  Uh huh, that's right!  It's getting easier and easier to feed them healthy.... I love it.

 On her throne.

More things on wheels that he SCREAMED and CRIED for.  It really works. He acts so innocent....

Here is the most beautiful 10 year old in the world.  She asked to go to the Gin Mill to get their yummy crepes.  It was a wonderful birthday brunch.

Stan and I got to go watch the Cowboys whip up on New York Giants!  My first NFL game, it was really fun.

Spider-Man's mom

Sometimes I turn the corner and he's hanging out at the top of a doorway, it always startles me.... He is so funny. I can only imagine how Spider-Man's mom must have felt!
