Crazy Snow Days

Alexandra got kicked by her brother while playing basketball.   Instead of kicking the ball to keep her from getting the rebound, he kicked her finger.  It swelled up and hurt but fortunatly it was not broken.  Here she is playing with Whitaker at the doctor's office waiting to get an xray.

Here are Alexandra's cute socks for "crazy sock day."  They suit her, don't you think?

I made little door messages for the kids this year for Valentines Day.  The girls have hardly mentioned them, but Anderson comes in every morning asking when I'm going to put the next one up.  He is so super cute.  I need to make one for him that says, I love him "Because you like my door messages!"

We had a Snow Day.  Sort of.  More like an ice day but we made the best of it.

Freezing the kids

The kids steal my phone and take pictures of themselves.  I love it.  I also like taking pictures of them.  I feel like I want to freeze them and this is my only way.  They are growing up too fast.  Here are some goofy shots around the house.

Alexandra's selfie and photobomb.

And the boys and silly silly selves.

Disaster Averted

So, Mumsie bought Ainsley Grace a Donut Bank for Christmas.  The only thing bigger than the joy she felt owning that bank, was the disappointment she felt when it fell to the ground from her headboard and shattered into a million little pieces.  Tears and anger filled the room, the house, AG's heart and head.  Two weeks later, I'm walking through Wal-mart where Mumsie said she purchased said bank back in the summer!  I glanced over to see a wall of cute banks...... No donuts though.  Until I kept looking and looking and moved a glitter castle bank out of the way to expose a single Donut Bank.  Disaster averted.  We now have more joy.......

The Gam Shack

My Poor sorority house caught fire last night.  It's so heartbreaking, 100 girls escaped without harm.  But, the sprinklers went off and basically ruined absolutely everything.  My heart goes out to the current residents and all of us alums.  So many, many, many wonderful memories.  I'm wondering how Mike our cook is doing.  He STILL works there....  I hope our bang filled composites made it.  Prayers for everyone.  We love you 930 Chautauqua.

Oh Alpha Gam, we love you so, from day to day, our love will grow.  And when we part, our badge of pearls, will bind our heart, to Alpha Gam.   Loyally.

New Years Eve Fun

New Years Eve was fun this year.  We did something different for the first time in 11 years!  We went to a school NYE party.  Anderson, AG and Whitaker stayed home with Gma and Gdad (thank you for babysitting!).  Alexandra came with us since the party was at one of her friends house.  It was really fun.  We danced, I got to shoot craps, we visited and had a great time.  Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas Y'all

We had a very Merry Christmas this year.  St. Thomas Aquinas was standing room only at 3:15 for a 4 o'clock Mass.  I love how people stop for just a second and make it happen.  Praise God!  Here we are waiting for Mass to start.  Alexandra got to sit by one of her besties at Mass.  They were cute.

We celebrated Christmas, family AND A Christmas Story this year.  Fah rah rah rah rah rah, rah rah rah rah.  We ate at Mai's for our Christmas Eve dinner.  Super yum.

We hung out after dinner and Mass.  Grandaddy got to play.
Mumsie was happy being with the Grandbabies.

Whitaker performed his party tricks.  "Whitaker, can you smile?"

"Can you frown?"

"Can you make your angry face?"

 "Surprised?"

Santa CAME!

Daddy in his mulletized Rednecks Rule hat.

Alexandra got busy and decided that our two Elves were not enough.  We really needed some more help...

BUT WAIT, THERE IS MORE!  Gma and Gdad took us all to Great Wolf Lodge to celebrate Christmas the day after Christmas!  The kids had SO MUCH FUN!  I sooo wish I had more pictures.  The kids had a blast playing and being with cousins, aunts and gparents!

Merry Christmas to y'all and to all a good night!
