Prose of Stan & Lexi
One named Braids and one named Curls
They both loved Queso
So they asked mommy for a Peso
And went to the Cantina
Dressed as a Ballerina
With only one Wish
To purchase their favorite Dish

Christmas 2006
We also set out carrots for the reindeer (as promised in the letter) - but Fat Santa ate one of them and left the nub on the plate - the girls didn't seem to find that as amusing as we did and wondered which reindeer got left out!
Ainsley was so so sweet. She opened her Care Bear and said, "thank you so much sissy, i wanted my own care bear, thank you!" She opened her Leapster and said, "thank you so much, i wanted my very own Leapster, thank you!" She said the same thing for 1 other thing although I can't remember what it was right now. She had a great time.
To make the day even more perfect for my type-A personality - Stan took care of Anders while I cleaned and organized. THEN we reorged the girls room. Stacked bunk beds and set up the Fancy Nancy lamp Santa brought. The lamp is in the corner of the pic. This deserves honerable mention because I am proud to say that my husband finally understands the virtue of buying something because it's a good price, even when you don't need it! I'm so proud and it only took 14 years (sniff, sniff). Btw, if anyone needs a light for their house, we have several purchased from a shi shi light store here in big D.
And LAST, but not least, perched from a spot of perfection, watching all the Christmas Day happenings was my most favorite gift I have received in the last 10 years. Thank you Grandaddy, THANK YOU!! It was beautiful. If YOU do not know what Electric Sex in the Window is, SHAME ON YOU. You go right now and rent A Christmas Story.

Is it Christmas, YET?

Christmas in Tulsa
Uncle Michael did his usual baby magic and played with Anderbuddy a bunch. It was a nice break for Stan and I... Here is Anders eating a carrot?
Why that's a mighty big carrot, you may be thinking. Well, that's food for the kids new pony.
Introducing Butterscotch. The girls didn't know what to play with first - the pony or the cars...
Anderson had a wonderful 1st Christmas - he made out like a "bandit," thanks to his super generous Mumsie & Grandaddy. Here he is playing with Mumsie.
Last but not least - here is Stan who is now in the DAWG HOUSE (you'll see why in the picture)!!!!!
Merry Christmas. May our dear Lord bless you all and keep you safe this season.
