I'm dreaming of a.....

It was a busy Christmas.  I got the action shot of the kids coming down and realizing Santa brought them fuzzy bean bags!  I don't know why he did that, it was not on my approved list.  Nevertheless, kids LOVE LOVE them.  Santa always seems to know.

Anderson loved his Harry Potter stuff.  "Don't call me Anderson!" is what we are now instructed....  Yes, those are drums.  A moment of temporary insanity.

Batteries and Aprons for the men.  Grandkids for the Grandma.

Daddy seeing if his scratch off hit big... What do you think?
Ainsley Grace loving her One Direction mag that Santa brought.  And she finally got her own skateboard!

Alexandra playing with her Furby iPhone app in her footy pajamas.  Cute stuff.  How can she be 11????

Whitaker thought this Christmas was waaay better than last year.  This year he got 3 presents!  He can finally  be a baby hero. He said, "I told y'all I was SUPER....!"

And to top it all off, we ended the day with a White Christmas.  Wow.  Merry, Merry!

Mommy's little elves

I have some sweet little elves.  They are getting so big.  They helped decorate the house and the trees of course.  The baby has not been messing with the ornaments.  Just the dog. :(    They are also helping me wrap the presents.  I couldn't do it without them.  And it wouldn't be nearly as much fun.....

We also went to the neighborhood Christmas Caroling this year.  The had a great time.

Lexi decided to skip her class party this year so she could attend her brother's Polar Express day.  But first we did a little shopping at Northpark.  Check her out in these fab shoes "on sale" at Neiman Marcus.  She already knew what was nice.  I'm having a flash forward in my head... Stress.  But she is still my little girl who likes to slide down the planters at the mall... Whew.

I love my sweet little elves.  Christmas wouldn't be the same without the Grand-elves either!  I got a kid Christmas pic with Santa, but then we decided to sneak in and have a Family Santa pic with all the elves.  How cute are we??!!

Freezing Boys

I am loving my boys.  They are fun to be with.  They play funny.  Anderson and Whit are sweet together, they are buddies.  Here is one cute little boy freezing while watching one of his sister's last soccer games.

Here is pooky bear playing one day.  He couldn't find his Puppy on a String that he rolls around constantly.  So, he used our Blender.  He also used Whit as a nap mat.

Here are the buds hanging out at sisters cheer demonstration.

Here is Whit Tackle-hugging Anderson.

Here is my Ninja eating Cheez-its while carefully eating them under his disguise.  Bud is now taking a hip hop class.  He was so happy when we told him he could take the class... He has been asking for a while since he got wind there was such a thing.  He also lost another tooth.

Here is my sweet Tiger Scout.

Anderson got to offer a Petition during Mass.  It was precious and good.

Anderson was learning was learning about Proper Nouns and I guess had to cut out examples.  I never thought I looked like Rickki Lake but apparently Anderson does!??!

Anderson seems to young for this but I thought this was so sweet when I came across it.  I blame this for my marriage proposals going from a weekly frequency to a bi-weekly frequency.... No matter.  I love you sweet boy.  I wish I could freeze you.  You are so perfect and such a wonderful little boy.

Dallas Thanksgiving

We had a great break this year.  Very low key, no travel, lots of productivity and play.  We worked all weekend to get the house organized.  But starting Monday we got busy having adventures.  First on the list was the Arboretum since the Chihuly exhibit is about to leave Dallas and we still had not seen it.  Wow, totally amazing.  We really want to go back and night and see it.... It's on the list.

This picture of Whit totally cracks me up, I didn't realize I overdid the camo until this picture... Doh.

Anderson has sooo much fun with our neighbor.... Buds they are.

Imagine little Whit's mind... Walking along this big maze, not knowing what he will see next, then all of a sudden, ahh, ahhhhhhhhhhhh.   BOOOOOOWWWWWWLLLLS.

I wish I had more picture of the amazing pieces.  We really need to go back.  We had a super fun time.
The fairytale and art houses were killer too.  Wow Arboretum, I am soo impressed and appreciative of all the *work*.  Just beautiful.

We had a play date one day and all of a sudden, the kids all run out to the balcony.  I go check on them and they are snapping pictures of the big excitement.  A man getting arrested on our side yard.  Yeah... I'm over it.

On another day we finally made it to the spectaular Klyde Warren Park.  A PARK that Dallas built on top of a highway.  It was AWESOME!   Kids enjoyed themselves.  Whit got sandy and wet.  Anderson climbed and spun.  Big girls played board games the park provides.... Here is lulu and her friend doing gangnam style in the water....  Daddy's office overlooks the park, so he came down and joined us.  Dallas is really bringing it... Purdy purdy.

On to the big feast.  The girls helped.  Daddy used the Big Green Egg to make the most juicy turkey we have ever had.  It was crazy good. Very low key too....   A yummy feast we had.

Happy Thanksgiving.  I could not be more grateful and thankful.
Gobble, Gobble!
