Dallas Thanksgiving

We had a great break this year.  Very low key, no travel, lots of productivity and play.  We worked all weekend to get the house organized.  But starting Monday we got busy having adventures.  First on the list was the Arboretum since the Chihuly exhibit is about to leave Dallas and we still had not seen it.  Wow, totally amazing.  We really want to go back and night and see it.... It's on the list.

This picture of Whit totally cracks me up, I didn't realize I overdid the camo until this picture... Doh.

Anderson has sooo much fun with our neighbor.... Buds they are.

Imagine little Whit's mind... Walking along this big maze, not knowing what he will see next, then all of a sudden, ahh, ahhhhhhhhhhhh.   BOOOOOOWWWWWWLLLLS.

I wish I had more picture of the amazing pieces.  We really need to go back.  We had a super fun time.
The fairytale and art houses were killer too.  Wow Arboretum, I am soo impressed and appreciative of all the *work*.  Just beautiful.

We had a play date one day and all of a sudden, the kids all run out to the balcony.  I go check on them and they are snapping pictures of the big excitement.  A man getting arrested on our side yard.  Yeah... I'm over it.

On another day we finally made it to the spectaular Klyde Warren Park.  A PARK that Dallas built on top of a highway.  It was AWESOME!   Kids enjoyed themselves.  Whit got sandy and wet.  Anderson climbed and spun.  Big girls played board games the park provides.... Here is lulu and her friend doing gangnam style in the water....  Daddy's office overlooks the park, so he came down and joined us.  Dallas is really bringing it... Purdy purdy.

On to the big feast.  The girls helped.  Daddy used the Big Green Egg to make the most juicy turkey we have ever had.  It was crazy good. Very low key too....   A yummy feast we had.

Happy Thanksgiving.  I could not be more grateful and thankful.
Gobble, Gobble!
